An official with the American Farm Bureau Federation says his group supports conservation measures, but is concerned about increasing federal environmental regulation. 

Don Parrish, AFB director of government relations, was responding Thursday to an Environment America report.

The report found 10 large agriculture interests gave $35 million to congressional candidates over the past decade, led by AFB, which gave $16 million. And it blamed them for derailing a Chesapeake Bay restoration bill.
